The Rooiberg 4x4 Trail - Robertson is closed and we are now visiting Wild Olive Adventure Trail just outside Wellington on 28 February 2009

You can make a short weekend of it by camping at Bontebokridge Reserve the Saturdaynight after completion of the Wild Olive 4x4 Eco Trail or only drive the trail. The choice is yours. This is a very nice short and exciting trail to visit and promises some excitement as well as getting the adrenaline going in some sections. A must do for your first trail of 2009. It is here that you will be albe to learn a few things about your car and yourself. See it as a training excercise.

There are quite a few obstacles that criss-cross a riverbed which is dry in summer and wet and muddy in winter. Do not be fooled though. They are quite deceptive. Soft sand, cross-axles and some uphills and downhills make this trail very interesting.

It is not daunting in any way, and can be driven especially by the ladies as well. This trail is really worth a visit.

Come and enjoy a funfilled track and view some stunning sunsets from accross the dam afterwards.

Rates:

Lapa: R75 per person for the use of the facility (min 8 people). Arrive Saturday mid morning leave Sunday by 14h00.

Camping: R70 per person (children under 12 years of age half price) Children under 2 = Free

4x4 course: R150 per vehicle {Optional}

Game drive: R55 per person on our game viewing vehicle. Comfortably seats 7 people. (great experience!) {Optional)

Activities:

Golf (5 hole maschie course), boulles, canoeing, bass fishing, swimming, bird watching and a large grassed area for children to play freely.
